Dec 2 2009 – James Frey’s son, Leo Frey, died when he was 11 days old. Leo Frey’s cause of death was genetic neuromuscular disorder.

James Frey wrote a message to commemorate World Aids Day on December 1 2009. Frey said the color read reminded him of his deceased baby son Leo Frey.

Although Leo did not die of Aids, Frey said he was reminded of Leo’s short life, which was akin to Aids patients.

Frey said Aids sufferers can be helped when they are given chances to be saved. Frey lamented his son Leo didn’t have the chances to be saved by medical science.

Frey and Bugaboo, a stroller maker, have teamed up to make a special one only stroller. This stroller has been placed for bidding in eBay. All the proceeds will be donated to the Global Fund. Global Fund pays for Aids grants in Africa.

May 14 2009 – Oprah Winfrey and James Frey have kissed and made up. Winfrey apologized to Frey for humiliating him in an interview on her show. Winfrey had pointed out that Frey lied about a few details in his nonfiction memoir. James Frey has responded to accept her apology.

May 5 2009 – James Frey has published the paperback version of his book, “Bright Shiny Morning”. Frey has included some material that was omitted in the hardcover version of his book. Frey made vague but damaging hints to a TV show host and her production company.Frey allegedly has some embarrassing tapes on a TV host.

Frey may be hinting about Oprah Winfrey.

Frey supposedly taped his conversations with Winfrey. Winfrey called Frey to check on him and how he was doing after a disastrous TV interview session. It was alleged in hints that Winfrey may have diverged some information about herself that may be surprising if revealed.

Frey said in his book that someday, he may need to rehash these tapes.

Something told in confidence should not be taped and used to threaten the speaker.

“Oprah Winfrey has 3 years to live”. That is a claim by medical personnel who reviewed Oprah’s medical history. Did they review her personal files or her public medical history? These medical experts claim Oprah Winfrey has only 3 years to live if she does not have surgery to remove her thyroid.

If her weight gain continues, Oprah could face a heart attack or stroke. Is this gossip a fact or fiction? What is known is that Oprah has spoken about her yo-yo dieting and constant battle with her weight.

Oprah revealed in October 2007 that she had a thyroid disorder. Oprah said she gained 20 pounds because of her thyroid disorder. Apart from the medical experts quoted by the National Enquirer, there is a source, a “family insider” who disclosed that Oprah was down in the doldrums because of her recent weight gain.

Oprah would like to continue her personal policy of being honest and open with her TV viewers but she was not ready to discuss the possibility of having thyroid surgery. If Oprah undergoes thyroid surgery, she would not be talking openly about it.

Oprah Winfrey dreads the strict dieting and exercise. As much as she hates the surgery, the diet and exercise are bigger obstacles so she would choose the option of surgery over a new round of dieting and exercise.
