Updated March 22:  Jade Goody is dead. Jade Goody has died. Goody died in her sleep at around 3:55 am, Sunday morning, March 22. Goody’s mother, Jackiey Budden, told the press that her daughter, Jade Goody, has died. Budden said their family and friends would have privacy at last. Goody died on the UK national Mother’s Day,which is celebrated on March 22.

Jade Goody is dying. According to the newspaper, NOTW, Jade Goody is not expected to live beyond March 16. Goody’s condition has deteriorated rapidly. Goody requested to remain at her home. Her husband, Jack Tweed, has applied for the special provision to have his curfew lifted so that he can spend nights and more time with his new wife in her dying hours.

Goody has insisted that her young sons maintain their regular schedule. The boys last saw Goody on Thursday. They are expected to celebrate Mother’s Day one week in advance. This Sunday will be Goody’s Mother’s Day with Bobby and Freddie.

Sylvia and John, Goody’s grandparents, have rushed to her bedside. Goody’s mother Jackiey has also been a frequent visitor to her home.

Jade Goody, 27, married Jack Tweed, 21. Goody was given away by her grandfather, John Caddock, 70. Jack Tweed received a special dispensation from his curfew at 7 pm in order to append the night with his new wife, at a honeymoon suite. Justice Secretary Jack Straw gave Tweed this special privilege. Tweed has to return to his mother’s home by 3 pm the following day under the arrangements for his parole and curfew. Goody and Tweed will have only one special night together as Tweed has to maintain his curfew.

Jade Goody’s wedding ceremony was at Down Hall in Essex. The Hall was built in the 14th Century. Goody arrived via helicopter. Goody’s wedding nuptials lasted 40minutes and she stood for a part of the ceremony. During the later part, Goody sat out the remainder of the ceremony.

Jade Goody wore a wedding gown donated by Harrods. Goody’s wedding dress cost £3,500. The wedding attire was modified to accommodate a pouch to hold Goody’s drugs which were being administered.

Goody’s two sons from her relationship with Jeff Brazier are Freddie, 4, and Bobbie, 5, helped to carry her wedding gown train. Goody invited more than 200 wedding guests. Ten white doves were released after the bride and groom left the building. An airplane flew overhead flying a banner which said, “Jade loves Jack”.

Jack Tweed left his mother’s house dressed in a woman’s white underwear. Tweed’s two other male friends showed their solidarity by wearing women’s lingerie too.

Jade Goody planned her wedding in 9 days. The wedding cost £315,000 and received offers of money assistance from well wishers. Goody sold the rights to media coverage of her wedding. The money goes to a trust fund for her sons Freddie and Bobbie.

The publicity surrounding Jade Goody’s cancer has created an increase in women seeking the pap smear tests for cervical cancer. Medical workers called it the “Jade Effect”.

Jade Goody has planned for her wedding and funeral. London’s Daily Mail said they had permission to publish Jade Goody’s photos after a chemotherapy session at a hospital. Goody looked very upset and in pain after her cancer treatment. Her mother, Jackiey Budden accompanied her. Please click on the link for Jade Goody’s latest photos.

It was rumored that Jade Goody wants to get married to her boyfriend, Jack Tweed. Tweed is serving 18 months jail time for an old assault case. Jack Tweed is due to be released in May 2009. Daily Mail claimed Jade Goody was planning her funeral earlier in Oct. Goody allegedly said she wanted mourners to drink tea and not booze. Goody wanted mourners to cry over her. Jade Goody had a hysterectomy in September and her chances of surviving cancer are 50-50. Goody has cancer in her surrounding abdominal organs.

Jade Goody’s second autobiography, “Catch A Falling Star”, is going to be made into a movie. Michelle Ryan and Ashley Jensen are being considered to portray Goody.
