Updated July 19 2009 – Jacob Shaffer was found sitting on the porch of one of the homes with murdered occupants. The murders were in two families and the victims were related to one big family. The killings were sparked off by an issue that was domestic related.

Jacob Shaffer, of Huntsville, Alabama, was detained for questioning in relation to 6 murders in the area of Tennessee and Alabama. Five were dead in Tennessee and one killed in Alabama.
