Kathryn Hess, a worker at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, died on Tuesday, March 17.Hess died of injuries sustained in a ski accident at work in the ski resort in Wyoming.

Hess fell last Friday, March 13. Hess was going down a descent into Rock Springs Canyon, south of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Hess was skiing on the backcountry patrol route when she fell. Hess had head injuries and other injuries. Hess finally succumbed to her injuries and passed away on Tuesday.

Kathryn Hess was a former instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School. Hess had worked as a guide for Jackson Hole Mountain Guides. She was experienced and her death was a great loss.
