Jack Valenti, the president of the Motion Picture Association of America, was also the top aide to President Lyndon B Johnson. Valenti was checked by the FBI for his alleged ties to a gangster. Valenti’s father and father-in-law were convicts for embezzlement charges.

Valenti married LBJ’s secretary, Mary Wiley. Valenti worked for President Johnson in 1963. The salary was $30,000 p.a.

In 1964, the FBI received a tip to investigate Valenti for being a sex pervert. The reason being newspapers reported Valenti was swimming nude in the White House pool.

A 1965 report without backing evidence said that Valenti arranged the abortion of a woman made pregnant by President LB Johnson. In 1966, Valenti resigned to take up a better paying job as the President of the Motion Picture Association of American. This paid $175,000 yearly. Valenti worked fro the MPAA for 38 years. Valenti retired in 2004 at 82 years old. Valenti, 85, died in April 2007.
