Ishmeet Singh, from Punjab, was the winner of “Voice of India.” Ishmeet Singh has drowned in a swimming pool on Tuesday, July 29 2008. Ishmeet Singh was at a resort in Maldives as he had a concert there.

Ishmeet Singh’s father said that the event organizer informed him of Ishmeet’s death. Ishmeet Singh was in the deep end of the hotel’s swimming pool and drowned. His father did not knw if Ishmeet was able to swim or not. Ishmeet Singh was the winner of Star India TV’s Voice of India contest in 2007.
