Isis King was the first transgender contestant on America’s Next Top Model. King returned to the limelight on The Tyra Banks Show to talk about her surgery. This will be shown Monday March 30.

Isis King, 23, was voted off ANTM after a bikini photo shoot because she was nervous about showing off her body. In November 2008, Tyra Banks introduced a surgeon to Isis King. This surgeon paid for King’s transgender operation.

King said her transgender operation to change her into an anatomical female took 4 hours and 15 minutes. Before her rise to fame,King was known as Darrell Walls and lived in a homeless shelter.

King said she felt good, comfortable and natural as she felt she belonged with her new anatomy. Isis King introduced her boyfriend, Desmond. King met Desmond on MySpace.

Sometime into Tyra Banks Show, Desmon went down on his bended knee to propose to Isis King. The studio audience went wild. Tyra couldn’t be more happy to see her guests getting engaged.
