Isiah Thomas: Isiah Thomas overdose but fine now

Isiah Thomas, former Knicks Head Coach, was sent from his home to hospital on early Fri. morning because he had overdosed on sleeping pills. Isiah Thomas was rushed to hospital from his home in Purchase, NY.

David Hall, Harrison Police Chief, refused to name the patient but said a man had eaten about 10 Lunesta pills. When emergency personnel responded, the man was unconscious, breathing and sent to hospital where his stomach was pumped. In the summer of 2007, Isiah Thomas and his team were accused of sexual harassment by Anucha Browne Sanders. Anucha Brown Sanders was a former executive. The team had to settle the lawsuit with a payout of $11 million. In Oct. 2007, the compensation was made to Anucha Brown Sanders. Isiah Thomas said he was innocent. Isiah Thomas was fired on April 18, 2008.

Barry Watkins, vice president of communications for Madison Square Garden, said at press time that Isiah Thomas is fine. Barry Watkins refused to give more details.
