Dianne Odell had polio when she was 3. Dianne Odell has been using her iron lung machine for about 58 years. Her machine was one of the older models of iron lungs. Dianne Odell had a spinal deofrmity that prevented her from using a modern iron lung. Dianne Odell had to lie on her back and was almost sealed off by her iron lung. She looked at visitors through a mirror placed at an angle.

Dianne Odell was very brave. She did her school, education, and completed it. She even wrote a book.

Paramedics and emergency medical personnel arrived at Dianne Odell’s family home after they were called but were unable to help.

The press did not have Dianne Odell’s photos yet when this news came out. Please share if you encounter them.
