Sir Ian McKellen played King Lear on stage. McKellen had to strip naked during one of the scenes. PBS has taped one of his stage performances and will air McKellen in King Lear on March 25. PBS has informed it will edit out McKellen’s famous nude scene in King Lear on TV. Watch McKellen in King Lear below.

McKellen is not bothered. MCKellen said his nudity should not be a distraction or it should be removed. McKellen threw in his last joke when he told how he had to pull in his stomach when he did that nude act.
