Hydroxycut may be linked to liver damage and health problems. The manufacturer of Hydroxycut announced it was doing a recall of Hydroxycut.

What is Hydroxycut made of?
Hydroxycut is supposed to be made of natural ingredients. It is popular because of this reason. Hydroxycut sales amount to 1 million bottles per year. Hydroxycut has the giant market share of the US market of weight loss products.

Why wasn’t Hydroxycut regulated by the FDA?
As Hydroxycut is a dietary supplement, it was not regulated closely by the Food and Drug Administration. The Hydroxycut manufacturer was not required to get FDA approval before selling the Hydroxycut pills.
