Humberto Hernandez Salvador, 31, of Richmond, was arrested on Wed., Dec. 31. Salvador was a suspect in a gang rape, kidnapping and carjacking. Salvador was part of a group of 2 adults and 2 teens who gang raped an alleged lesbian, while touting her for her sexual preferences.

Josue Gonzalez, 21, surrendered himself after he learned he was wanted by police. Gonzalez is a suspect in the same crime. Gonzalez asked for an attorney but did not talk about his role in the alleged crime.

Police have arrested the two teens who were allegedly involved in the same crime. A boy, 15, of Richmond, and another boy, 16, of Hercules, were arrested and detained at a juvenile center. Their names were not released at this stage.

The victim was a woman, 28. Her car had a rainbow gay pride sticker. Her attackers commented on her being a lesbian. The victim lives with a female partner. Investigators have tagged this case as a hate crime.

One man started the attack by threatening the victim with a blunt object. He sexually assaulted her naked on the street. The males abducted the woman using her car and forced her into a vacant building where they raped her. The victim was robbed and left nude outside the building, while the males carjacked her vehicle.
