Huey Lewis, Taylor Hicks and Jerry Lee Lewis, played Washington in “A Capitol Fourth” on PBS. Huey Lewis said that he disliked fireworks. When he was 5 years old, his parents left him in the care of a baby sitter. Huey Lewis saw the fireworks from his wndow in the holiday apartment. Huey Lewis related how the loud sounds of the explosions scared him. That is why Huey Lewis hates fireworks.
