Updated August 29 – How did DJ AM die? What made DJ AM die at 36 years old? How did DJ AM die alone and undiscovered for two days? These are burning questions everyone wants to know about. Adam Goldstein’s cause of death was not determined after his autopsy. DJ AM, aka Adam Goldstein, was discovered dead on Friday, August 28. The results of the autopsy are inconclusive and the cause of death could not be established.

The coroner has to wait for more test results from toxicology and tissue tests to determine the cause of death. The coroner did not state the day DJ AM died as he had not been seen for two days prior to Friday, when his friend tried to check on him.

Dr. Fred Mullins gave the press statement to update on the conditions of Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein (DJ AM).

Barker and Goldstein suffered second and third-degree burns. Mullins said Barker’s torso was burned. Goldstein’s hands and part of his head were burned. Barker and DJ AM were expected to make full recoveries.
