Hosea Thomas, 34, has been sentenced to 66 years in prison. Hosea Thomas was convicted of killing Philant Johnson, a friend and helper of T.I., a rapper.

T.I., aka Clifford Harris, testified and said he believed the gunshots fired at his entourage were actually meant to kill him. T.I. was unhurt during the shootings. After a concert given by T.I. in Cincinnati in May 2006, there was a gun fight on Interstate 75. Philant Johnson died while 3 others were wounded.

Thomas was found guilty in the charges of murder, felonious assault and illegal possession of a gun after he had a felony conviction.
