By Therese Lisieux on January 13th, 2009A Hooters lawsuit against the restaurant alleged Hooters used sex discrimination. A small group of men sued Hooters in a lawsuit. The men alleged Hooters refused to hire men because they practiced sexual discrimination. Hooters challenged the lawsuit. Hooters said they had the legal right to hire women only.
Hooters had fought similar court cases before on their women only policy and won. Hooters counter claimed that the men were out to make a quick buck and represented by a “very small plaintiff’s law firm.”
