Hollis Hawthorne, a US dancer, had an accident on the road in February 2009. Hawthorne was on a motor bike. Hawthorne is a dancer on a bicycle. That is a new trend of dancing on bicycles. Just 5 days before her accident, Hawthorne had sent her friends an email on Feb 19.

A bus hit Hawthorne’s motorbike and she was thrown off. Hawthorne had a critical head injury. Hawthorne fell into a coma. A private hospital in Chennai is now caring for Hawthorne.

Hawthorne’s family is trying to fly her back to the US. The special trip will cost $150,000. Mrs Hawthorne has flown into Chennai, India, to be at the bedside of Hawthorn.

Hollis Hawthorne needs $150,000 for medical expenses to transport her back to California. Hawthorne’s friends are appealing for donations.
