Hollie Steel had a false start in her semi finals performance in Britain’s Got Talent. Steel had a breakdown. Steel started singing Edelweiss but had a breakdown when she burst into tears. Steel was shaking during her breakdown and was comforted by her mother. Steel begged for a second chance to sing. Initially, the producers denied her because of time constraints. After a while, they relented and Steel went back on stage. The second time, Hollie Steel was over her breakdown and sang beautifully without incident.

Steel was voted through to the finals.

Hollie Steel: Hollie Steel I Could Have Danced All Night (video)

Hollie Steel is 10 years old and a contender for the winner of Britain’s Got Talent. Hollie Steel was discovered by Kelly Brook, a guest judge for auditions in Manchester.

Hollie Steel started her show routine by dancing a ballet, using the music from “I Could Have Danced All Night”. This song was taken from the film, “My Fair Lady”.

Kelly Brook and Amanda Holden loved Steel’s singing. Piers Morgan said he had not heard a child sing as well as Hollie Steel during the past 3 years on the show. Simon Cowell said he did not like Steel’s ballerina costume and he did not like the choice of song.

There is another Holly Steel in Vacaville, California and she is 14 years old. Besides the different spellings in name, these two girls have different ages.

Kelly Brook, a UK model, was a judge on Britain’s Got Talent for two days. The producers changed their minds about having Brook on as a permanent judge because she made the talent show complicated.

Updated April 25 – Jason and Nina Steel have bought a new dress for Hollie from Tecso costing 15 pounds. Nina Steel said she did not want to spend a fortune on Hollie’s dress for her audition as she thought Hollie would not make it into the competition.
