Herb Score (1933 – 2008), was the Cleveland Indians pitcher who received the award of the American League Rookie of the Year in 1955. When Herb Score retired from baseball, he entered into a career in broadcasting, with the Major League Baseball Club. Herb Score did today, on Veterans Day. Herb Score passed away at the age of 75.

Herb Score died at home in Rocky River, Ohio. Score had been in poor health after a car accident in 1998. Score then had a long illness. Herb Score left behind his wife.
