Henry Tavarez and Stephen Anderson were charged with false arrests of two club goers. Tavarez and Anderson used cash and cocaine seized from later convicted suspects as evidence against innocent men. Tavarez and Anderson were working as undercover cops in buy-and-bust operations at a nightclub in Elmhurst, New York.

The night club’s surveillance video showed that the accused civilians, Jose Colon and Maximo Colon, had no interaction with the undercover cops in the sting operation. The Colon brothers are 24 and 28 years old respectively.
