Heinz Deli Mayo ad - 2 men kiss

Nigel Dickie, from Heinz UK, said that the Heinz Deli Mayo ad was meant to be funny but they apologize for causing offence. Some parents claimed that they were compelled to explain about same sex relationships to their kids after they had seen the ad and asked about the 2 men kissing each other.

The Heinz Deli Mayo ad showed a man making sandwiches with Mayo in the kitchen. He was referrred to as Mom. He spoke with a New York accent. Another man enters, grabs a sandwiche and says, “See you tonight, love.”

The Mom asks Dad for a kiss. The 2 men kiss.

The ad ended with a slogan - “Heinz Deli Mayo - Mayo with a New York Deli flavor.”
