Heather Locklear was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on Saturday afternoon, September 27. Locklear was arrested in Santa Barbara. Locklear was stopped by a California Highway Patrol police officer. A resident called police after noticing a woman driving out from a parking lot in an erratic manner.

A police officer saw Heather Locklear’s car parked on a state highway. Locklear’s car was blocking a lane on the highway in Montecito, about 90 miles NW of L.A. The officer spoke to Locklear and suspected she was under the influence of some substance. He took Locklear to the station. The staff tested Locklear for drugs and alcohol. At 7 pm, Locklear was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription medication. After that, Locklear was released. The press tried calling Heather Locklear’s publicists for confirmation but calls were unreturned.

Heather Locklear had gone into a rehab clinic in June ’08 for depression and anxiety. Her psychiatrist once called 911 to her house because she feared Locklear was suicidal. When the personnel reached there, Locklear denied she was suicidal. In 2007, Locklear became divorced from her husband, Richie Sambora after 11 years of marriage. Their daughter is named, Ava Elizabeth Sambora. Sambora is a guitarist with Bon Jovi.

Heather Locklear rose into fame for TV series like “T.J. Hooker”, “Melrose Place”, “Dynasty”, and “Spin City.” Locklear also appeared in movies like ”Uptown Girls” and “The Perfect Man.”
