A puppy is everyone’s best friend. This is proven by the Heart Puppy. There are two Heart Puppy chihuahuas born to a bitch (female dog) in Odate, Japan.

Emiko Sakurada has a new Chihuahua puppy with a brown heart shaped fur patch on its body. Sakurada named her puppy Heartkun. In Japanese, it roughly means Heart Puppy. Heartkun was born around July 2007.

Sakurada is a dog breeder in Odate, Japan. Ms Sakurada has bred about 1000 chihuahuas but this is her first Chihuahua with a heart shaped fur patch; a real Heart Puppy.

Now, about 2 years later, the same dog has given birth to another Heart Puppy with a heart shaped patch of fur on its body. This new Heart Puppy was named Lovekun. Lovekun acted like a newborn Heart Puppy who was awake only for feeds and slept most of the time.

Heartkun and Lovekun are at the Pucchin Dog’s shop in Odate, Japan. Ms Sakurada said she won’t be selling
Heartkun or Lovekun because the Heart Puppy chihuahuas have brought her good luck. Ms Sakurada said the Heart Puppy dogs bring good luck to those who have seen them.
