He Ping Ping is now 20 years old. When he was born, He Ping Ping was only the length of a palm. China has the world’s shortest man and the world’s tallest man.
The world’s tallest man is Bao Xishun. Bao Xishun is 7 feet 9 inches tall. There is disute over Bao Xishun. Bao is not the tallest man in the world but because he is registered in the Guiness book of records, people recognize Bao Xishun as the tallest man in the world. There is another man who is taller than Bao Xishun. He is from Ukraine and he is 8 feet 5 inches tall. This Ukraine man refused to be measured and listed in the Guiness book of records.

The world’s tallest man, Bao Xishun,and his wife, Xia Shujuan, are expecting their first child. The world’s tallest man, Bao Xishun, almost lost his title last year when another tall man came to be known. Leonid Stadnyk is the world’s tallest man at 8 feet 9 inches. However, Stadnyk, a Ukranian, refused to be measured for the Guinness Book of Records. Stadnyk was a former veterinarian, 37, and he hated his height. Stadnyk hated to be famous and refused to be measured for an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records. Leonid Stadnyk had to give up his job as an animal doctor because of his height. Stadnyk preferred to live life as a recluse.
Bao Xishun, 60, was married to Xia Shujuan, 29, after he placed ads seeking a life partner. Xia was from his hometown. Bao and Xia were married in a traditional full dress Mongolian ceremony in 2007. Sponsors paid for their wedding and received publicity. Bao used to work in the Army and played basketball for them. After he retired, Bao returned to Mongolia and became a farmer and accepted publicity assignments. Bao beat the previous Guinness Record holder, Radhouane Charbib, of Tunisia, by 2 mm when their heights were formally measured.
