Harold Hal Turner: Turner arrested
By Therese Lisieux on June 4th, 2009Harold “Hal” Turner, who allegedly holds white supremacist values, was arrested. Harold Hal Turner will be extradited to Connecticut. Turner is accused of inciting his website’s virtual audience to threaten two lawmakers in Connecticut, and a worker in the State ethics office.
Turner is accused of inciting readers to his website to “take up arms” against Senators Andrew McDonald and Representative Michael Lawlor.
The blog called the “Hal Turner Show” wrote that it would publicize the home addresses of the Connecticut officials Wednesday night, June 3. Turner, 47, of North Bergen, New Jersey, was arrested and detained before he had the chance to do so.
Turner, 47, was arrested and detained. Turner will be heard in Court in New Jersey. After the formal hearing, Turner will be extradited.
