Amy Winehouse is 25 years old on Monday, September 25, 2008. Winehouse’s good friend, Blake Wood, threw a grand birthday party for Winehouse at Soho’s Jazz After Dark club over the weekend.

Winehouse was absent from her own birthday celebrations. Blake Wood paid £5,350 on the birthday bash for Winehouse which Amy’s management only contributed £700. Amy’s mother, Janis, had no idea her daughter was a no show because she arrived at the Winehouse birthday party with a portrait of Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil.
