Hannah Powell-Auslam, 10 years old, has breast cancer. Powell-Auslam was diagnosed in April 2009 with breast cancer. Powell-Auslam, is in her 10th grade in Fullerton, Calif.

Powell-Auslam’s parents were shocked to discover she had stage IIA breast cancer, also known as invasive ductal carcinoma. Invasive ductal carcinoma usually happens in adults because it’s from estrogen stimulation. Powell-Auslam, at 10 years old, developed cancer out of the odds of 0.1 %.
