Gwen Ifill, the moderator for Thursday’s VP debate, has written a new book that will be released on Inauguration Day, Jan 20, 2009. Gwen Ifill’s book is pro-Obama and describes the mechanisms in the politics of race. The book is “Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.” Look here. Besides Obama, rising black politicians like Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick and Newark Mayor Cory Booker are also analyzed.

Michelle Malkin, World Net Daily and the McCain campaign would be concerned. It seemed Gwen Ifill did not refuse the opportunity of her lifetime to be the moderator for the Biden Palin debate moderator. It was argued that Gwen Ifill’s book was on Amazon and Random House website. Gwen Ifill had Howard Kurtz review it in the Washington Post. Gwen Ifill is a moderator who is very pro-Obama and has an Obama book to her name. Will voters who tune into the VP debate be swayed ?
