Ashley Norris, manager of Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, confirmed that Morgan Freeman was involved in a car accident. Morgan Freeman is a co-owner of the Ground Zero Blues Club.

On July 10, Morgan Freeman made a press release that he will open a second Ground Zero Blues Club at the Pearl River Resort. Pearl River Resort is run by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians in Neshoba County.
