Griselda Blanco had many nicknames. Blanco was known as la Madrina, the Godmother, the Black Widow and the Cocaine Queen of Miami. Blanco was a ruthless pioneer and a sociopath in the drug underworld of Miami.

The movie, “Cocaine Cowboys II: Hustlin’ with the Godmother”, attempted to portray the life of Griselda Blanco. Griselda Blanco was arrested in 1985. Blanco spent nearly 20 years in prison. In 2004, Blanco was released and immediately deported back to her native Columbia.
