The Greatest American Dog TV Show started with 12 teams of dogs and their owners pitting themselves against one other in contests of intelligence, skill and obedience. Every week, one team (of dog and owner) is booted off (from Greatest American Dog show) until a finalist winner emerges with $250,000 and the title of Greatest American Dog.
