Graham Parker has finally solved his Rubik’s Cube after 26 years. Graham Parker started his Rubik’s Cube in 1983. Parker has had wrist problems, backaches and sleepless nights trying to solve his Rubik’s Cube.

Graham Parker, 45, said he felt obsessed by it. Many people offered to solve Parker’s Rubik Cube for him but Parker refused. Parker’s wife, Jean Parker, 47, said the Rubik’s Cube put a strain on their marriage.

Ray Hodgkin, from the World Cube Association, (governing body for Rubik Cube competitions), said 26 years is the longest time for someone to solve a Rubik’s Cube.

Erik Akkersdijk, of Netherlands, is the record holder for a single solution in 7.08 seconds.
