Gov. Charlie Crist is marrying Carole Rome on Friday, Dec. 12. Gov. Crist’s marriage will be the first marriage of a sitting governor in 40 years. Crist will be the third of Florida’s record of 5 bachelor governors to marry while seated in office as Govenor. The wedding ceremony of Charlie Crist and Carole Rome will be attended by 200 guests.

Gov. Charlie Crist proposed to Carole Rome with a blue sapphire and diamond ring. Carole Rome and Charlie Crist will have wedding bands that are white gold with antique styling on them.

Carole Rome is a divorcee with 2 daughters. Rome shares custody of her daughters with her former husband. It was unknown if the girls would be residing sometimes with their mother, Ms. Carole Rome. People are speculating about the daughters attending school in Tallahassee but nobody knows for sure.

Gov. Charlie Crist was said to be keeping his wedding guest list a guarded secret. That was supposed to avoid embarrassing those who were not invited.

It was rumoured that Carole Rome would be picking up the tab for her own wedding. Rome makes at least $1.5 million p.a. Crist was valued at $500K.

The last wedding of a Florida Governor happened about 40 years ago.
