By Clarencia Cynrae on June 7th, 2009Gordon Ramsay, the chef from UK, certainly burned his bridges with Tracy Grimshaw, a journalist in Australia. Ramsay ruffled feathers when he dissed Grimshaw at the Good Food and Wine Show in Melbourne, Australia.
Gordon Ramsay criticized Tracy Grimshaw for her looks and sexuality. Ramsay showed his audience a picture of a nude woman with pig features, crawling on all fours and possessing several breasts. The picture was evidently photoshopped. Ramsay said the picture was Tracy Grimshaw.
Ramsay said he had an interview with Grimshaw before he appeared at the food show. Ramsay voiced his opinion that Grimshaw may need to see Simon Cowell’s botox doctor. Ramsay’s remark suggesting that Cowell used plastic surgery and Botox may not go down well with Cowell.
According to the feedback generated by media who have rushed to the defense of Tracy Grimshaw, the worst sexist rant on Grimshaw happened when Ramsay called her a lesbian. Australia’s Channel Nine chief executive David Gyngell spoke to Ramsay to protest against the content of Ramsay’s remarks on Tracy Grimshaw.
Gordon Ramsay’s rep, Sarah Armstrong, responded to the press. His spokeswoman said Ramsay meant his reference to Grimshaw as a joke. Armstrong claimed Gordon Ramsay and Tracy Grimshaw had a good working relationship.

Gordon Ramsay apologized for his jokes. Ramsay said he never meant his jokes to be a strong attack. Ramsay claimed he made efforts to contact Grimshaw to say sorry but he was ignored. Ramsay said he had the picture of the pig because of the current awareness of swine flu. Ramsay depreciated himself by calling his own jokes stupid.
Ramsay said he never called Grimshaw a lesbian. Ramsay attributed the fuss to the media who played up the situation.

How the heck is calling someone a lesbian sexist? It’s just political correctness gone stupid. So a woman assuming that a flamboyant man is gay is considered sexist now? This is so rediculous. People need to grow brains instead of getting offended by the smallest things, especially women’s rights group who interpret anything negative comment about a person who is female instead of a male is THE MOST SEXIST THING EVER. it’s just so sad. You don’t see us men getting bloody sooky about comments made about guys, stop your crying and get over yourselfs.

Calling someone a lesbian isn’t sexist. Showing a picture of a pig with multiple breasts and saying its Tracy and also calling her a dyke and a lesbian on air is outrageous and uncalled for.
Who gives a crap if its a man or a woman Tien/Wayne Kelly.
If somethings wrong…its wrong. End of discussion.
That stupid rich loser needs someone to put him in place. Being rich does not entitle you to whatever you want. I’m glad with he response. He is a narcissist.

As a female I am outraged by Tracy Grimshaw’s behaviour. It is women like her and those jumpng to her defence that make it impossible for equality to exist in this world.
Tracy was the first to start the insults within the interview by stating Gordon was a “prima donna”.
All I can say is ladies if you cant handle insults, don’t dish them out.
Gordon is known for his profanity and insults- it’s called entertainment. If you don’t like it Haha, don’t watch it…common sense really.
Women need to stop being so precious, if you want to be treated as an equal along side men.
To quote the other men on here “You need to stop being men hating bitches” there is a certain amount of truth in this statement. Ladies grow up, youre an embarrassment to the rest of us, and guys all the power to your opinion…I’m with you on this one!
Personally I think Tracy’s response to Gordon was disgusting, a personal attack after she started the whole incident.
Tracy-perhaps you should resign from the job you do so badly.

Much power to Gordon Ramsey for telling Channel nine where to go.
It’s so obviously a stunt orchestrated by nine, first they insult him in the interview knowing quite well he will retaliate in some way, then use his retaliation as another story on their show.
Good on Ramsey for clearly stating on TV that it was a ratings attempt by nine. He’s not buying in to their games.
I’m an Aussie, but I’ve come to learn Australia’s journalists are jokes.
These “current affair” programs run stories about Susan Boyle while there’s an entire Aboriginal town fenced off and LOCKED from the rest of the world because their town is plagued with asbestos. I only learned about that because I happened to flick on to sbs when an aboriginal current affairs program was on. Ridiculous.
Anyway, I personally am sick of all these attacks on Gordon Ramsey by Australian tv networks, they’re ruining Australia for him when the majority of people here love him.

This is good evidence of the way australia has been taken over by a monarchy police state like structure
that affects all aspects of life here. The close ties between government and tabloid trash journalists and the feminists is on perfect display. i hope gordon goes all the way in attacking these bastards and everything they stand for. Full kudos and support to gordon

You need to watch his apology, she doesn’t have the guts to talk to him face to face and deal with the problem like an adult. She does the petty old “he was lying in that interview, did you see that? He was lying, he said this but that wasn’t right, I’m right, I’m always right.” Well not those exact words, but something of the like. Plus the golden EXACT quote “Some of my best friends are gay” My thoughts; “Oh you did NOT just do that! You DID NOT just do that! Oh you absolute cow! You sound like a desperate little kid who just got proven wrong… oh wait haha, you are!”
I would like to finish with a quote that both men and women laugh at… *Patting girl’s head* “Nawww, have you been studying feminism at uni?” (in reference to a girl being stupid and thinking something was sexist when it clearly wasn’t, for those getting offended) The way I see it is… I’m a chick, I’m not offended, all other chicks can get over it.
