A three year old girl swallows a battery and now fights to live. Nazia is the girl in Afghanistan who swallows a battery and suffers the consequences. The girl swallows the battery whole in April ’08. Nazia has damaged vocal cords and airways. Doctors have done surgeries and discovered her airway is the size of a dull pencil lead. Nazia now fights to live. The video shows Nazia at the hospital, after receiving followup treatment for swallowing a battery.
