Giovanni Gonzalez, 23, a police officer, died in a car crash on Tuesday, June 16. Gonzalez’s cruiser collided with a dump truck near the Florida Turnpike.

The accident remains under investigation.

Giovanni Gonzalez, with the Miami Dade, was a cop for the past 2-3 years. Gonzalez had completed his officer training program. On his personal life, Gonzalez had a fiancee and was planning his coming marriage. Gonzalez has left behind his son, 1 year old.
