Gertrude Baines is currently the world’s oldest living person. Baines celebrated her 115th birthday on Monday, April 6. Baines received birthday presents from famous people like President Obama and Senator Dianne Feinstein.

The Gerontology Research Group validates claims of individuals with old age. The GRG said Gertrude Baines, of Shellman, Georgia, is presently the world’s oldest living person.
