Geovany Soto, the Chicago Cubs catcher, admitted he tested positive for marijuana. Soto’s test was done during the 2009 World Baseball Classic. Soto will be punished by being banned from playing internationally. Soto will be allowed to continue playing for Major League Baseball games.

Geovany Soto apologized for his mistake. He said it won’t happen again. This is the first time Soto has tested positive for drugs in his baseball career.
