George Feigley, sex cult leader of Neo American Church, is freed

George Feigley was not required to be registered as a sex offender. George Feigley was convicted and sentenced in 1975 for statutory rape, indecent assault and corruption of minors.
George Feigley had operated the Neo American Church, which was dubbed a sex cult by the authorities. There were protests in front of George Feigley’s house in Harrisburg and at the Neo American Church headquarters. One victim of George Feigley, identified only as “J”, said that George Feigley should not be free in society. J said he preyed on people who believed in him.
George Feigley had a record of 2 jail breaks in 1976. In 1983, Laura Seligman and James Gilbert drowned in an attempt to help George Feigley break out of prison. They were crawling through the sewer line to reach the jail but flood waters drowned them.
George Feigley’s wife, Sandra Feigley, still lives in the same house in the same residential estate.
