George Eisenhart, the emcee (MC) and owner of Image Promotions, was killed by a monster truck. Eisenhart had stuck to his routine and expected just one monster truck to pass by when he walked out of his safe area. Eisenhart was mowed down by the second  monster truck in the arena.

According to one news report that quoted a witness, the second monster truck did a U turn instead of the usual crossing over to return to the pits.

Eye witnesses said Eisenhart was run over by the 2500 pound tire. Eisenhart’s leg was crushed and his face looked bad. The spectators were shocked. Some members in the audience threw up in the aisles.

“Neither the truck driver nor Mr. Eisenhart saw each other before the collision,” said coroner John Stanley. Dane County Sheriff’s Office ruled that George Eisenhart’s death was an accident. The driver of Samson, the Monster truck, will not be charged.
