Gearhart Plane Crash

Gearhart Plane Crash happened on Monday, August 4, 2008. In the Gearhart Plane Crash, there was a big explosion. A Cessna 172 light plane smashed partially into a tree and crashed into a house.

Six people inside the house, consisting of one grown up and five kids. Two other residents in the house left the house earlier to take a walk. The adult and two children escaped from the fiery blaze. The three other kids perished in the Gearhart Plane Crash blaze. Two dead children were recovered. Recovery of the third dead child continues.

FAA is in charge of the Gearhart Plane Crash investigations. The recovery of the pilot and passenger in the plane can not begin until the FAA investigates at the scene.

The Gearhart Plane Crash aircraft was a rental from Aviation Adventure at Seaside Airport. The Cessna 172 engine wa sheard sputtering just before it crashed.

A total of five were dead in the Gearhart Plane Crash.
