Gayle Manchin, wife of West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin, was on her bicycle when she was hit by a car on Sunday, August 31.

Gayle Manchin was sent to hospital but discharged after her medical check revealed that se was alright Manchin’s spokeswoman, Lara Ramsburg, said that Gayle Manchin’s bike accident happened near the state Capitol. A vehicle pulling into the road hit Gayle Manchin. Gov. Joe Manchin and their security team helped Gayle Manchin after she was hit. No details were available on the driver. It was unknown on whether the person was cited for the accident.
