Gawker reports Palin email hacked: Rick Davis confirms to Gawker that Palin email hacked
By Therese Lisieux on September 18th, 2008Gawker is having fun when someone hacked the Palin email account today. The news on Palin today is “Palin email hacked.” Gawker has copies of Gov. Sarah Palin’s email account in yahoo. Evidently, Gawker has been advised that it is legal to post certain material from a public officer’s private email stash. The hackers are responsible for the leaks on “Palin email hacked.” Gawker thinks that a public civil servant has no privacy. The material is in Gawker here.
The important news is that Sarah Palin has been using private email accounts to communicate with government officials/ employees like Conan, Ivy Frye and others. Ivy Frye was reported as the Palin assistant who asked Palin about using alternatives to hide their communications.
McCain-Palin 2008 Campaign Manager Rick Davis has made the biggest mistake ever. In responding to the reports, he has confirmed the legitimacy of the leaked “Sarah Palin emails.” If he had kept silence, at least there would be doubts on the legitimacy of the “Sarah Palin emails.”
After the news got around that the Palin email was hacked, both the quasi private email acoounts were deleted by the owner. Too late. This day will go down as the day the Palin email got hacked.
A small group of young people named Anonymous in 4chan claimed responsibility for hacking Sarah Palin’s email accounts. Yahoo email security is defeated. Some of the young computer geniuses are barely teens and have trouble spelling but look at their intelligence! They may be European and English may be their foreign language. Their deeds may not be condoned but credit goes to them for their work. Mask your IPs. You know why.
Anonymous at 4Chan, I know you will be checking in on all who report your handiwork. Drop a line via the Contact Me in About.
Updated.
Anonymous has clarified that they are not a group of hackers – “it’s a leaderless collective of like-minded individuals, from all walks of life.”
