Galina Rusanova was on a plane when she created a scene. Rusanova is a Russian born resident of London. Rusanova was on a return flight from LA to UK. Her plane had a diversion to Bangor.

Rusanova allegedly consumed prescription drugs, 2 or 3 bottles of wine and liquid soap from the plane’s lavatory. Rusanova became unruly as she assaulted flight attendants by kicking and punching them on the United Airlines flight. Rusanova also tried to bite a flight attendant.

Rusanova appeared in a court in Maine on Friday, May 1. Rusanova was charged with assault and interference with flight crew. Rusanova has to remain in jail during the weekend. On Monday, May 4, Rusanova will appear in for her detention hearing.
