Frederick S Kreuder: Kreuder arrested in LIRR probe
By Therese Lisieux on November 18th, 2008Frederick S. Kreuder, 49, of Bellmore, New York, was formerly working for Long Island Rail Road (LIRR). Kreuder was arrested on Mon., Nov. 17. Kreuder was charged with accepting money in return for rendering help to Long Island Rail Road employees file federal disability payments. Kreuder pleaded not guilty to charges of official misconduct. Kreuder was later released without bail.
Kreuder, the former pension office manager and then manager of budget development and analysis, was suspended without pay from his job on Mon., Nov. 17. Kreuder had been the manager of the Blue Demons youth team and they won the 2007 Babe Ruth World Series Championship for the 13-15 year old age bracket. Frederick Kreuder did not accept money for himself but for this Blue Demons baseball team.
