Fred Cooper is a suspect in the murders of Steven Andrews and his wife, Michelle Andrews. Fred Cooper’s girlfriend, Kellie Ballew, had an affair with the married Steven Andrews. Kellie Ballew then broke up with Steven Andrews but apparently, her boyfriend Fred Cooper knew about Steven Andrews.

Steven Andrews and Michelle Andrews were discovered dead 2 days after Christmas in Dec. 2005. When the sheriff’s deputies rang the doorbell, the Andrews’ child, a toddler, answered the door, and showed them the parents’ bodies.

Judge Thomas Reese said he is moving the trial of the accused Fred Cooper, from Florida to Pinellas County, because the case had generated a tsunami of publicity and the jurors might be biased.
