Kansas City Chiefs former head coach, Frank Gansz, has died. Gansz was 70 when he died.

On April 23, it was reported that Frank Gansz had knee surgery and suffered complications. Gansz was warded in the Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.  On April 24, news reports said Gansz’s son, Frank Gansz Jr, the special teams coach in UCLA, flew to Dallas to visit his father. The elder Gansz was in a serious condition. Then the news came suddenly on Monday night, April 27, that Gansz Sr had died.
