Fran Drescher: Actress Drescher eyes New York Senator seat

Fran Drescher wants to become the next junior senator from New York. Fran Drescher wants to take over Hillary Rodham Clinton’s seat.

Fran Drescher, 51, has experience as an actress, an advocate for women’s health and as a public diplomacy envoy for the US State Department. Drescher will have to compete with Caroline Kennedy and Andrew Cuomo, the NY Attorney General.
