One music teacher at Foxboro Elementary School in Vacaville, California, had a sex change and went from a woman to a man. Some parents are angry that they were not informed before hand and were only told by their kids that their music teacher had changed gender to become a man.

Travis Unified School District responded and said it was legally obligated to protect the unidentified transgender teacher’s privacy under the HIPAA law.
