Forest Busby, 17, was arrested. Busby, of Woodstock, brought a 38-caliber gun to school. Busby brought the unloaded gun to Woodstock High School. Busby and another 17 year old student stole this gun and other weapons from the home of a 15 year old. The weapons belonged to this younger student’s parents.

Police acted on the report that 3 weapons were stolen from a home. Police searched Forest Busby’s home and found two other weapons; one each of AR-15 and Mini 14 semi-automatic assault rifles. Ammunition was recovered.

Forest Busby has been detained in custody. Busby could face charges of possession if a weapon on school grounds, theft, and possession of a gun by a minor under 18. The 15 year old and the other 17 year old of Woodstock are detained in custody.
